The Ultimate Droid 2.0.0 - Droid 1

Unfortunately, I had to uninstall UD 2.0 and go with a different ROM. My failsafe for CPU temp was kicking in right after I would boot the phone, even with switching out numerous kernels. I had the same issue with another ROM but the one I have now is keeping my phone cooled down. So, hopefully I can try reinstalling after the update or just wait for the new version to be released. This is a great ROM
 
when the lock screen is disabled the camera button can unlock the screen. is there any way to disable that? the camera button is just to easy to press.

Need Help UD 2.0 Stays on 1x not 3G

Hey, can anyone please help me? UD 2.0.0 ROM is incredible, but only flaw is that it stays on 1x all the time and not 3G. I changed kernals, fixed permissions, rebooted, and wiped and installed 3 times. Can anyone give me other suggestions please. Thank you so much in advance!

Amazing!

I dont know what all these "bugs" are that people are talking about because i just installed and everything works PERFECTLY..love your work good solid fast and stable rom!!
 
MultiTouch

Has anyone noticed any multitouch issues? I was using liquid and noticed an issue. So I installed UltimateDroid and noticed the same issue. Take a emulator for example, use the onscreen controls. Press and hold left. then press a button, like x, or a and hold that down. let go of left. Left stays pressed until you stop touching the screen all together. Even though you stopped touching left.
I've seen this on snesoid, psx4droid, and reckless racing.

I noticed that stock FRG22, and FRG83 do not have this issue, but UltimateDroid and Liquid do. Anyone else experienced that?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about this great mod, I just am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if there is any way to fix it.
 
is wifi necessary for maps?
just loaded this rom, and seems like maps and particularly directions don't seem to work without a wifi connection :(

Wireless Tether

Just one problem: Can't seem to get internet access on my laptop when using Wireless Tether. It has always worked before. Do I need to select a different channel, or is it something else?

EDIT: deleted and reinstalled. Works fine now. UD2 is the cat's pajamas!

Well I've tried Slayhers 1.2, and 1.0 ulv, Chevys 1.25, 1.1 and 1.0 both ulv and lv kernals and still no dice on Wi-Fi connecting/scanning. Eventually I'll attempt to reflash the whole ROM I suppose. I'm not complaining! UD2.0 is an awesome ROM. Thanks for the help guys!

Was it saying error in the wifi check box, if so I had the same issue, I reflashed the Rom without wiping and it solved it.
 
reflashed without wiping
uninstalled,re-installed maps app.

same issue.

when I try to search for anything, it takes forever and never completes :(

when I turn ON wifi, works like a charm.

I did notice a msg. "data connection lost, retry"

any assistance would be appreciated,
