Attempted to install Chevy's 1.25 kernel and now phone is stuck in a reboot loop.

Done battery pulls, loop continues.

When I try to enter recovery (power+X) it works for a second then the loop starts again!

Never had anything like this happen before.

HELP!

Try an at least 30 second battery pull to allow the capacitors to fully shut off and see if that helps at all

After lengthy battery pull, I was able to get into CW long enough to install a Chevy Lv kernel, but the looping continues. I try to go into nandroid and restore but it is saying it can't mount the SD card.

I need my phone for work tomorrow!

I have not.

I have my SD card out of the phone and am making a back-up of it in case I need to reformat (if the card turns out to be part of the problem).

What will happen if I wipe with the card out?

Will I lose Root?

great rom as always...just one issue

cant change wallpapers without a reboot...this happened on 8.0 as well...and my lockscreen wallpaper is different from main wallpaper...anyway to make them the same or any troubleshooting for this problem?

havent themed yet, this is a completely stock install.

I have no issue changing wallpapers on the fly

Lars,

If you're able to get back in and reflash another kernel, you probably need more juice so try to flash a MV kernel instead of all the LV stuff, even if it's worked on other ROMs in the past. Try a MV kernel with lower high end, something like 1.0 if you have it. My hunch is that you either don't have enough juice or you're pushing the phone too fast for this ROM. Keep us updated...I can send you a MV P3 kernel at 1.0 if you'd like...PM me if you want it.

no you wont lose root but you wont be able to flash a fresh install of 2.0 which is what you need. You can keep trying kernels but I'd just try and get back up.

Ok, When my card is done copying, I will try. (fingers crossed)

It keeps telling me it can't mount the SD card, which would make it impossible to re-flash 2.0 correct?

What could be the cause/solution of this?

(perhaps related) I have a 32 Gb card and it has always taken a while for all of the apps to load after a reboot.
