The "&" is not a bug, for some reason it is in the xml for the keyboard...

my data is still down. And i was pretty sure i was able to access my facebook and stuff before i did this ROM install. Is anyone have a working rom before i roll this back? i have had the 2.4 installed for about 6 hours now and it still won't reload my apps and install my facebook and gmail.

It seems to be a common issue but I lost my 3g also.

Is there a chance that we will get the phone and dialer from 2.1 back, I think it has a better look to it, also it displays emergency calls only on my lock screen, but the rest of the rom is awesome dancedroid

I wiped data, and 2.4 reloaded all my apps, and 3G is working fine for me. You could always try another wipe and fresh install.

Weird i have 3G service and i can surf the web just fine. But i cannot sync with Gmail since installing this rom.

absolutely..i came from bb as well and to avoid issues I was told to wipe data and cache

A couple of reboots seems to have fixed the 3g issue I was having. Is the box gmail box checked under accounts and sync? I know when I flashed 2.3 I had the same issue and it was because the box was unchecked for some reason

Ditto the highlighted above. However, it only does it with the Rotary LockScreen, and ONLY in portrait mode. In landscape (with the keyboard pulled out) the "Emergency Calls Only" text disappears.

For the time being, I've reverted to the non-rotary lock screen. Yes, it bugged me that much.

Also, within the window to select the Rotary Lockscreen, the header still says "Overclocking" instead of "Lockscreen".

Otherwise, the ROM is amazing so far! My phone ran EXTREMELY hot with the provided kernel, so I swapped it for the LFY 1200 kernel clocked at 1000mhz, and all is well now.

Go to Settings>accounts and sync> gmail account and make sure sync for gmail is on

It is and this is the second time i installed the rom i downloaded it once to my phone via WIFI and the another time VIA USB. I have checked and unchecked the rom. I re-provisioned my phone. I also have checked background data and auto-sync and under managed accounts i have the sync contacts checked and sync calendar all checked. I have checked and unchecked and rebooted multiple times. sucks. I don't know what else to try besides go back to a old rom.

I put this new rom on with Rom Mon and installed from the .zip

Do you have gmail installed? I don't think it comes preinatalled, you have to install it with UD settings...
