These are the two things I found busted in the 3.0 series that sent me back to 2.5...

Do all text messages work?

Do you music playlists disappear?

TI back up

Just flashed 3.1 and trying to install TI backkup to restore my apps. I have tried installing it from the .zip i created before flashing it. Goes through the install process and says successful but does appear in the app drawer after reboot. tried it 3x

Edit: Never got it to install from sprecovery so I signed into google and downloaded it from the market and it loaded up fine. I have installed TI this way many times to avoid google trying to restore my apps first and it has always worked. First time for everything I guess.

Ditto on the FC with GMail. I installed over 3.0.1 so I will try a clean wipe/flash and see if that works but I just wanted to post this potential bug.

well, gave it a shot. got everything set up, even flashed a few different kernels and tried LP and ADW.EX but couldnt get rid of the little bit of stutter when swiping between home screens. Back to pe5.0.2 for me...

What do you have your clock speed at? What gov are you using (interactive, ondemand etc..?)

Do you have setcpu, or stock over-clock app? Sorry to bombard you with questions, but you moved away from the Rom fairly quick. Wondering if it's even worth a flash.

oddly enough, i think it was worth it... in the registration process i got to see that he's actually charging for subscriptions to download nightlies.

i thought that was pretty cute.

Not trying to start stuff here - but, there are supposed to be download links in the OP ... I was called out by a mod for not having d/l links on the OPs in my section.

It appears as if there are a select few that need not abide by this rule though ... :icon_rolleyes:

Go to settings>application>manage applications
Find gmail in the list and hit force close, then hit clear data.
back out then restart gmail
Should work

Going back to 3.0.1! Problems so far with 3.1:
TI backup will not install from .zip in SPRecovery
Have to log into google and DL from Market
After all apps restored, Lock screen disapears, goes right to phone without having to unlock
Home button does not work
Apps do not load from SD card.

Might be something that TI restores causing the problems. I will have to go through and find out but not now. Never had any of these types of problems before with UD roms. The home button works fine before the restore.
