I got it too!

I'm in Michigan, just tried system updates after reading this, and voila! life is good! Thanks again to the OP for the great heads up! Now, to see if I can notice any difference..

I just got the update and successfully installed it even thought I had previously installed one of the earlier leaks and later reverted (FXZ'd) back to stock, and it STILL WORKED AND I KEPT ROOT!!!! I had used the Forever Root method and it worked, now all is great in the world.

I love that it seems to work for pretty much everyone so far which means this is the "real deal" update that we all have been waiting for. My main concern is the apps-to-SD option that I understand is "supposed" to be working now, although I can't seem to find it. I want to move all of my large game data folders over to my Sandisk SDcard and free up the internal space on the phone. It doesn't seem to work like it did back on Froyo. Once I figure it out I'll report back on how well it works or not, unless someone knows how and can tell us.

"HAPPY DAYS!!!"

Goto manage apps.....all...and you'll see the option to move to media aka sdcard or your phone.

Thanks for the reply CJSMOOVE. I saw that option too but I though that would just store the app (apk file) to the 4GB portion of the internal memory called "media." Is that supposed to really refer to the actual SDcard, and if so, how do I store the huge data folders for my games there instead of just the small apk file and data? And where on my SD card would I be placing it if I choose that option?

Thanks.

Woke up around 3:45 am and got the update.
It did NOT break 4 ever root!
Phone seems a bit snappier and camera a bit faster.

Just tried to install it & after rebooting it says update failed. Still have root, though.

I'm stock except for root access & I changed my boot animation. Any ideas? Going to change boot animation back & try again.
