[Theme] 928Droid "Black Glass" 2.2 for Froyo - Update.zip - MetaMorph - Back to Stock

theme for sapphire 1.0.0

Thank you for the quick response. I wasn't sure about updating to 1.1 because of problems I have been reading about on here talking about problems with google apps. I will probably try it and just make a backup before just in case. They might of done something wrong, and the 1.0 is working so beautifully now I wasn't sure. Is there a way to change the icons at bottom of screen(phone, contact, menu, text, and web). I saw this pic of someones home screen and really liked them. see attachment. I appreciate the help,

Questions about pre-install

I wanted to know about instructions for what to do before installing. So all I have to do is uninstall Map and Facebook apps and your theme will replace them? Am I understanding that correctly? And if so that is the only pre-requisites? Thank you for your help!

Facebook.apk – 928Droid Special Edition "Black Edition"(Inverted) Version 1.3.1
Credit to TheBowers for the "Inversion"(images by 928Droid)
Note: Uninstall Market Version first if installed.

Maps.apk– New 4.4 version
Note: Uninstall Market Version first if installed.

My Themes have Gmail v2.2.1 and the latest Google Search apps in it (has for a month now) so just by installing it my Theme will fix the problems some have had with those apps in v1.1. Not aware of any others.

The ADW Launcher "extra" zip file will also give you the option to add different apps on the bottom ...and is already themed to match :)

As soon as I get the BGX Theme for the Droid 2 done (hopefully tonight or tomorrow) and as long as my schedule permits I will do that one, may have it done by mid week.

Are you using the current download??? It shouldn't change the animation. When I first uploaded it I had accidently left the Droid ani in there, but changed it within an hour of uploading...at least I thought I did.

Regardless, you can open up the Sapphire Zip, go to System/media, grab bootanimation.zip and push it to system/media on your phone.

I downloaded the 2.2x theme about noon today. I had the previous version over Sapphire 1.0, then I installed the new Sapphire, and then the new BlackGlass. Every reboot showed me the Droid animation. It's not a huge deal to me, but I thought I might want to see if there was an easy way to restore the Sapphire animation.

Thanks a lot for this awesome theme, and your equally awesome support on this forum!

I will double check, I really didn't want to overwrite the new Sapphire Bootani..it is way too nice!

I followed your directions, replaced the system\media\bootanimation.zip file, and still I didn't see the Sapphire animation.

Turns out that somewhere along the line, a copy of the Droid animation was put into a folder called data\local, and apparently that overrides whatever's in the system\media folder. Once I deleted that file, the Sapphire animation was back. :happy:

Thanks for the update, glad it wasn't my fault. Some people have a bad habit of doing that, does nothing but cause confusion (obviously).
 
Should I see 928Droid BG 2.2x on the lock screen? I don't remember seeing this on the previous version I was using on Sapphire 1.0 but I think I remember seeing it on a a theme version for Bugless Beast.
