[Theme] 928Droid "Black Glass" 2.2 for Froyo - Update.zip - MetaMorph - Back to Stock

Any chance of you making this work for FRF83 Source? I was on JRummy's FRF57 and have this theme installed, with RROD Battery Icon and it just looks awesome. But I switched over to BuglessBeast .3 which is FRF83 and really really want this theme again!

IMHO, FRF83 will have a very short "lifespan", I am already ripping apart FRF85b from the Nexus to get ready for the Official Droid OTA 2.2 update (whatever version # it ends up being).

If my theme was simple and only themed widgets and a few other items I would make a quickie version for FRF83...but as you know it is a little more than just that. When you methodically change thousands of images across over 40 apks...it is a little time consuming. Plus I only theme what I run as I test everything on my Droid for a while before releasing.

Also, I haven't seen a single "upgrade" or improvement mentioned with "FRF83 Source" ROMs as compared to FRF57...actually I have seen more "issues" than anything so it makes no sense to me to jump to that now...especially with the real Droid Froyo literally just around the corner.

Plus, I have my fingers-crossed that I will get an advanced copy before I leave for the 4th Holiday...hopefully I will be spending some time sitting at a campfire in the mountains cranking out "Black Glass" for the OTA Droid 2.2...and have it ready for when the OTA drops to everyone else

IF, I get word of any major Droid 2.2 OTA delays (beyond a week or so) I will knock out an "FRF83" version for you guys when I get back next week.

While I want to see this theme on my droid ASAP, I totally agree with your reason for waiting. As detailed as this theme is, it would be silly to put all that work in now and then have to change it all again in a week or two.

frf84b or whatever just got pushed to nexus is supposedly final.

Oh btw I think a huge part of the MM failure was MM itself, the updated version let me actually copy services.cpy and framework-res without issues. only problem is that on the CM alpha (test0) build, it did not change anything. only change I can see for sure is the phone dialer.

pull down is white, text is stlll black on a white status bar. basically no change.

Will fiddle more with it later. I might try playing with taking out frame work and service.cpy from the update.zip install and try doing those manually.

Take the error posts and stuff as compliments I say. It shows theres quite a few who really like this theme =). thanks for the hard work.

From testing so far, you can use the existing MetaMorph version and everything seems OK except for the services.jar file. As long as you don't apply that, all the others including framework-res will be OK.

Great news aside from the donation link. I must have shown 30 people at work today how great your theme looks and had to give about 10 people the link to it. The only thing that I am not a huge fan of, but still not entirely against is the battery icon. I see you posted how to replace it and with a little more reading I plan to tackle that. Thanks again for an amazing theme

Anybody have an extended controls app or a widget app for an LED flashlight that works with Froyo & this theme? Ive tried an LED widget/extended controls/switchpro but nothing turns the flash on

I was so bummed when i couldnt install this on the BBv0.4. I cant wait till u complete it. It is the most detailed theme i ever seen. I cant ever see myself changing it. i hope there are some new surprising changes to it. Can wait to see the download link up. 928 u should really get this on ROM manager cause u blow the other themes out of the water
