dave do you have any idea why, when i install this over frf84, my clock remains black?

There's a framework fix that worked for some people that Dave posted on or about page 35. It didn't work for me but you might have better luck. Do a nandroid backup first, though, because if it doesn't work it might lock you into a bootloop.

As soon as I can spare my phone for some downtime I'm going to play with Cyanogenmod 6 RC1 and this theme, so at the moment my black clock isn't bugging me too much.

Damn, I just got this theme setup on Sapphire 0.7:icon_ banana:

Now they just released Sapphire 0.8.4 :icon_eek:
After I get 0.8.4 setup, I'll try your theme for 0.7 over it and see what happens.

Applied the theme for Sapphire 0.7, over the latest Sapphire 0.8.4
And it looks perfect.

@furbear - did you ever have any luck? i saw you had issues with the M and bootloops on the framework update as well... i don't want to wipe and start from scratch if i don't have too...

I had none, nor did I have any ideas on how to change things myself (I was willing to learn metamorph, whatever, but no such luck), even with 2x and 3x wipes and clean installs. Thank all that's holy and profane for nandroid backups! They took me right back to where I was, so it was just a matter of investing the time to try it, but no dice with me.

I'm going to try CM 6 RC1 here in a little while, see how it comes out, because if it's half as good as I keep hearing I'll just run that. I'm not a big fan of ROMs in general, even if they are awesome, but what I've heard about Cyanogenmod makes me want to take a look. I'll post my results here since I seem to have a finicky Droid (that I hate to keep having to set back up ).

MetaMorph only available for FRF84b, until the Dev gets MetaMorph to place "nicer" with Froyo I will only be doing Update.zip Themes.

actually I was asking because you recommended I use MetaMorph to install the LiquidBattery theme...
funny thing is, I installed it before I read that MetaMorph won't work on FRF91(?) and it worked out great...so thanks!

but now that I see what Liquid Battery looks like...I'm not sure I want to keep it, haha, it seemed cooler looking on the PC screen...anyhow, I'm getting ready to install the Black Glass SS4.4 with the corrections made...

**edit** after a few minutes, the phone froze up completely, had to pull battery and wipe...well I'm not messing with MetaMorph again, haha! anyhow, as soon as I get SS4.4 back on I'm putting your Black Glass back on...

And we get another no-go under CM 6 RC1. I got it to work once and I had a black clock. I rebooted into recovery, wiped like someone in the port-a-potty at a chili cookoff, and then I got stuck in boot loops, at the M, you name it. Finally just restored my nandroid backup and went back to stock CM 6.

It worked fine on my Droid under FRF57, that's why I don't know why it's not working now. Anyway, I'll hold back to see if there are any updates or solutions forthcoming and just try to enjoy my new ROM.

I'd get a screen cap if I still had it loaded but I don't know the program people use and I don't have it loaded. It actually looked like the black overlay on the status bar was darker than it was under the FRF84B ROM, if that means anything (probably doesn't).

I still love the theme!

Boy do I feel like a schmuck. Cyanogenmod lets you change the clock color manually. I'd blame the alcohol, but I didn't have a drop till after 10pm.

Will try again tomorrow.
