[Theme] 928Droid "Black Glass" 2.2 for Froyo - Update.zip - MetaMorph - Back to Stock

After finally getting to download the file, I get this exact same issue! It's like no other boot loop I've been in before. The animation freezes just as the first few lines start to enter the screen from the sides, and it just stays that way.

Things I've tried:
Wiped before ROM install, then wiped again before Theme install. No luck.
Wiped before ROM install, no wipe before Theme install. No luck.
No wipe before ROM install, wipe before Theme install. No luck.
No wipe before ROM install, no wipe before Theme install. No luck.
Tried all this in both SPRecovery AND ClockworkMod Recovery. No luck.

Any ideas, 928Droid?

I had this happen with myself one time when I didn't select wipe data in ROM manager when doing a manual restore of CM6 over another ROM.. I then used RM and installed fresh CM6 making sure I selected the wipe option and the problem didn't happen when installing the theme thru recovery.

BTW, you should never have to wipe when applying my themes over the correct ROM.
Well, see... that's weird, because I did wipe data/cache before installing a fresh CM6 ROM from RomManager. Would the selected launcher (I selected Launcher2 for the record) or selecting gapps have any effect on this?

Thanks for taking the time to respond! I'd REALLY like to get this theme working! I can't stand the stock look! I'm currently running kangerade and love the look, but there are a few instabilities with the ROM, hence why I'm trying to get CM6 themed so I can stand looking at it...Hahahaha!

Do full wipe, install Rom
wipe Cache only (not absolutley necessary, but I think it helps)
install theme

Took your advice, tried it, and no joy. Still trying to boot up with the Nexus animation, and still looping.

Pretty sure I'm just going to give up on the Theme. I keep getting this eerie feeling every time I get stuck in a boot loop that the next time I try powering up, the phone is going to boot up with a big hand flipping me the bird and just freeze right there...LOL!

Tried the newest Download link just now with the EXACT same results... I'm SOOOOO frustrated at this point! I'm tempted to take video of the exact process I'm going through to install the ROM AND the Theme, and send it your way to see if there is something I'm missing.

It has never once tried to boot up with the droid animation, it ALWAYS tries to boot up with the Nexus boot animation. And even that is broken and never completes a full X. Like I said before, it is like no other bootloop I've ever been in before. I've been in a bootloop with CM6 before when attempting to install the black bar, and at least then it would complete the X animation, then repeat forever.

Going to try one more thing, and that is to install Simply Stunning 4.4 and attempt to apply the Theme over that ROM. I would imagine it will all go over smooth, and something is just REALLY weird with my phone in particular when trying to install your theme over CM6. Really sucks I can't get this working!

if this it´s sapphire B
I found only this one and Installed your theme and I got dark clock and others too
releases:sapphire-0.8.4 [CVPCS Sapphire Wiki]

I will wait for your fix testing the sapphire rom in my droid

With Chevy 4.4 any fix

edit it´s not a problem with your theme because I installed the smoked glas blue in sapphire post and have the same problem
I think it´s some wrong with rom graphics

With Sapphire and CM6 you change the clock and notifications settings to whatever color you want in the custom "enhanced settings"

CM6 - Menu>Settings> CyanogenMod Settings

Sapphire - Gem Stettings app
