[Theme] 928Droid "Black Glass" 2.2 for Froyo - Update.zip - MetaMorph - Back to Stock

okay i just updated to the frf84b build, and the installed your theme, my issue is, 1 i do not have the pulsar battery, no issue there since the battery there i kind of like, it says the percent left..anyways, my real issue IS my clock is black...not white...how do i fix this? also the verizon wireless in the drop down menu, is grey font not white...

I noticed that the pop-up windows have a white background on the corners instead of transparent.

Also, why is the notification bar semi-transparent if the drop-down background is opaque? It actually turns grayish while in the market or on the web.

Sorry this isn't the theme I thought it was. Bugless has it's own "smoked" glass theme.

But I do like all the themed icons in this theme. Great job.

The droid does and eye stuff is what puts this theme over the top in my opinion. Keep up the great work.

Same here. I switched back to stock music player just so I could have the skinned eye player. :)

I just wish I could figure out how to get the battery notification like the screen shots.

For "No Clock" in the BB v0.4 notification bar:

  • [*]Using Root Explorer (or similar) Go to System/framework...
    [*]Rename "services.jar" to "services-CLOCK.jar".
    [*]Rename "services-NO-CLOCK.jar" to "services.jar".
[*]Reboot and be patient with first reboot..
[*]To add the clock back reverse the directions above.

This doesnt work for me. I keep getting "renaming file error"

    any help?

Never mind, i got it.

Before I install this will I need to redownload C6 for a clean ROM since I currently have some custom things on it? Or can I put this theme on top of it? Thanks!

It's hard to tell if tis black class theme is more CPU intensive than a default stock theme cuz for some reason a lot of the percentages in my battery info seem higher when I first start up my phone, like the display and android os. I'd even have situations where my phone would tell my that 17% of power was used on my flikie app when havny even used it at all!! please, I'm hoping somebody could here me out, because the info in the battery is significantly different when I don't have a custom theme installed.

I usually do go back to the clean CM6 ROM before loading a new theme. Otherwise, you get a mish-mosh of your old and new themes. It won't take long since you've already downloaded the CM6 ROM once.

Also, you don't have to wipe data as long as you aren't changing ROMs. Be sure to Backup your current ROM before switching ANYTHING, though! That has saved me on more than one occasion.

i was wondering about the pulsar battery also. i like the look of it.

as for the color of the clock, see the next to the last post on page 67 of the string. you can change the provider color using the same method-just go to "Date and provider" under "User interface" menu instead of "Battery and clock".

Hope this helps!
