[Theme] 928Droid "Black Glass" 2.2 for Froyo - Update.zip - MetaMorph - Back to Stock

It's hard to tell if tis black class theme is more CPU intensive than a default stock theme cuz for some reason a lot of the percentages in my battery info seem higher when I first start up my phone, like the display and android os. I'd even have situations where my phone would tell my that 17% of power was used on my flikie app when havny even used it at all!! please, I'm hoping somebody could here me out, because the info in the battery is significantly different when I don't have a custom theme installed.
bump: flikie will even say its been using 27%!!!!!!! can somebody shine some light on why I would be experience these increased battery percentages using this theme?? I'm sorry for my impatience I'm just so confused and I've never heard anybody report this kind of issue.. There have even been times where it would say 101% of display which obviously doesn't make that much sense.
ANYBODY KNOW?????? I like this theme a lot but it seems to be eating at my battery. thanks again and sorry, I'm still a noob.:greendroid:

First Rule of using the internet...Don't beleive everything you read!

I have ran back to back Stock vs Theme linkpak and Quadrant scrores on each of my Themes...there is NO difference.

Also if you read the First post...I do not change code in ROMs, sure the images maybe slightly larger (some cases smaller than other Themes out there)..but we are not taking KBs of differentials..

BTW, I forgot to tell you ..... THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!

The ONLY thing that can make my Theme "seem" like it is using more vattery is bacause you are looking all thru the apps, menus etc at the cool stuff....unlike when it was stock :-)

As your usage calms down so will the battery life...other than that it is a Kernel and/or SetCPU settings.

Looking forward to using your theme on the new FRG01B leak!!

That leak is running AWESOME on my phone with Chevys 1.1ghz kernel

would make my phone perfect for your theme on top of it!!

Thanks again for your hard work

Thanks Jimmy and 928 for the feedback. and I've been using BB v0.4 froyo. I've been a bit overwhelmed with all this kernel stuff so I've been switching back and forth with them but I think I should be sticking to different things for a longer period of time. Right now I'm on the same rom but with the default rom kernel and no custom theme. which I'll switch around between using it at 125-600 or 125-mhz. My battery life has just been so-so but maybe I'm so addicted and worried with my phone that it drains faster. I've been using today at what you can say idk "moderately heavy use"??? :P
But I think you might be right, 928. Perhaps the device needs time to "refresh" itself with the themes. I was just getting concerned about it since my battery info would seem outta whack AFTER I FIRST START IT UP.

It's been almost 5 hours and 17 minutes since I turned it on and now I'm at like 40% of battery. I wish I could be one of those people who spend 20 minutes at a time and get like 14 hours of battery life, which seems like that was the case before I was rooted, but it might be because I was in school at the time so I was using it less.
I'm also using screebl lite and system task panel so idk if it's helping or not. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF ALL OF THIS??? also excuse my tech-naivety but I'm still a bit unsure of what these 'quadrants' are..
but since the sky is gonna fall soon maybe it won't matter as much..

I would wait, but that's just me. I'm also curious as to what the exact change log is in the new build. maybe something to modify my battery anxiety? XD

Black Glass for FRG01b (deodexed) will be released tonight.

I'm sure this has been addressed already, but I had to mention that I haven't noticed any increase in battery usage since adding this theme... just to back up 928's work ;) it's definitely not the culprit for your problems... whatever is causing it though, I hope you get it resolved...

my clock, date, and notifications in the top bar are black text and can't read them. Since this is a stock set up, no way to change the text colors ourselves. That is all I can find at the moment.

Can anyone else confirm.
