my one issue is that it seems like you are overdoing the "Droid Does" just a bit. Other than that, AMAZING THEME!

(im still going to use it cuz there is no better dark theme for Bugless Beast Froyo V0.4)

What do you mean? There has only been one vote against it.

Nope, I am talking the spinning red circle as shown in post #1092 as opposed to the spinning red "droid eye" as shown in the subsequent posts. I was the "nay" vote as I think the one shown in post #1092 is far more professional looking (and just down right more fitting with the theme) than the ones of the mini droid eyes.

In the end the only way every person is gonna be happy is to learn how to make the changes they want...the info to do just that is all here at DF just waiting for you to learn...and it ain't hard.

I am certain the spinning red circle can be put into a MM file pretty easily we'd just need to know where to get it.

I will be loading it up tonight at work right now but I will let you know what I think. Look forward to seeing how it looks.

unless you choose the Non-Deodexed Version which is the third choice.

gotcha, also whats the difference between the frg22 r1 and the regular deoxed version? i read most of the OP and i just found 1 thing about the r1 file...

wait, just looked at the file a bit more, one is blackglassX 2-2 the other is black glass 2-2 r1...what is the difference....

No clue on that. Haven't moved to FRG22. Love me some CM6.

btw - not to be an arse but it's deodexed not deoxidized. One is removing odexes - the other is removing oxygen.

That is my release notation...has nothing to do with Froyo or the version of Froyo..just a specific version of my Theme...r1 as in "Revision 1" ...which technically was the second release, since the first doesn't have anything like that in the file name....confused yet?

Example...my first version of a newly Themed ROM would be like:

928DroidBlackGlass2-2-FRG22-DeOdexed-update.zip

If I make revisions (changes/improvements) to it, the file name becomes:

928DroidBlackGlass2-2-FRG22-DeOdexed-r1-update.zip

I do my best to only keep the latest versions of each theme in the Download folder for each specific "ROM" (stock or Custom).

Currently in the FRG22 Deodexed Folder you will find 3 files. the back to stock update(which should never change) , the current Black Glass Theme (r1 version) and the NEW Black Glass X version (not offically released yet).

This way you only need to look in one Folder for the all the current files pertaining to the ROM you are using.

Of course the Extra/Patches Download Folder files cover many different ROMs as notated in Post #1 of this thread.

BUT to be perfectly CLEAR...NONE of these are ROM files...just Theme Update Filesl You gotta load the correct/matching ROM from where ever first.

Well I have just finished loading it up on the droid and I have to say I really like the red spinner it looks the dancedroid NUTS!!!!! dancedroid the only thing I have to say about the rest of the theme is I do not get the difference between the black glass and the test black glass X. I hope that this does not offend you I Know how long it takes to do the work you do.
I wish that I could do what you have done, and let me tell you I have tried but I get no where.

Start pressing ALL the buttons , textfields, adjust the volume...play a song and watch the progress bar....download an app etc...press the contact, phone, favorites tab...same with outher tabs.....

I know it's subtle, but I had to create, edit, and change dozens of images
in EVERY app, basically hundreds of images to get rid of all the yellow & Orange buttons and button presses so I could replace them with red. I also custom made the new progress bar, has sort of a "black glass recessed look" with the "red glass filler".

Also note new backgrounds for Twitter, Facebook, Calendar, and Market widgets....plus a total redo of Twitter (you don't have the final yet, just finished it, will be in next upload)..also this has the new "Black Edition" Facebook 1.3.1 and new "Black Edition" GTalk included....I could go on and on.

..Subtle,.. yes I agree, and actually take that as a compliment. I didn't want to take away from the "Droidness"..just enhance it some more and make it more "Droid Red" in places.

IF most people like it this way, this will be the normal Black Glass Theme (my preference)...BUT if they don't, I will make both and denote this version with the "X'.

Only the download counts will answer that question..
