The earlier version of you theme had a menu unluck. It is not in the newer release for Sapphire. Can I pull the apk from the earlier .zip? Any reason it would not work on sapphire?

Now I heard about the new Black Glass having red added to the theme and want to try it. But reading the last couple of pages it sounds like there is an even newer version coming out. Should I wait for it? I have FRG01B Deodexed on my Droid.

The latest version of my Theme, is based on the one I leaked a week ago with all the red accents to get a feel if everyone liked it (or not).

This is now officially called Black Glass 2.2x , note the lowercase x, to make sure it is not mixed up with the Black Glass X version for the Droid X. Basically both are now the same except for obvious app differences (MotoBlur etc on DX and D2)...

Anyway, the latest release of Black Glass 2.2x has all of the new red push button and press accents (inspired by the Droid X and Droid 2) along with the slickest pop-up menus I have ever made or even seen, they are sleek, and well down right "elegant" and professional! There is too much to list, you wil have to hunt around to see all the changes.

Every single app/apk has been changed from the previous version, some of it is subtle, some of it is not, but I spent a lot of time to get the most unified Theme possible, dare I say up to the level of a factory effort.

Added to this new release version is the latest Google Voice Search and Google Quick Box Search apps(If you downloaded those from the market please uninstall),...., the latest Gmail 2.2.1 app, the new Droid 2 Livewallper, .... Voice Dialer is also now themed and a few others.

Also now included in all of my Themes are my Black Edition Mms (Messaging), Black Edition GTalk, Black Edition Facebook (totally rethemed), and the cool new Black Edition "TwitterDoes" Twitter app, again completely rethemed and has the Animated Droid Eye and DroidDoes Scrolling logo.

I am trying to get other ROM versions up as fast as I can, but I am also trying to spend as much time possible testing extensively before uploading
because of all the changes...oh, and belieive it or not, I do have a life, wife and yes, a real job too..

FRG01b DeOdexed will be uploaded today, and if all goes well Simply Stunning v4.7, LithiumMod, and maybe CM6-RC3 before I crash tonight.

TO all those asking about theming some other ROMs, I will take a look at them after I get all the existing ROMs I Theme updated to the Black Glass 2.2x version.

Just curious whether or not you think you might get Lithium done tonight or what the time frame is? I'm patient but curious .

Have yo checked the "Extras" Download folder ? There is a Themed D2 MT KB there...it's not "all" Black Glass... but much better than stock

When there is a stable Froyo for the X yes, My experiance with the Froyo Leak for the X has ...well...lt's just so it's not good enough for me. Put my X back to 2.1.

FWIW, there is very little difference in the files/images and I could have a Theme ready for Froyo X in a short time.

In the mean time I am making the existing Theme for it andthe Droid even better...here is my latest "X" inspired ADW Launcher (latest version).. Lookd even better in person. This will be in all the new Droid and Droid X Theme releases starting today.

No sir I haven't. I haven't even installed 4.7 because I'm waiting for you to theme it first! Its just chillin on my SD card atm! Haha! I'll DEF check into that though, you never disappoint! Any plans to theme Liquid any time soon? Thanks for all you do!!!!

ADW, it lets you set transparency for the app drawer background.

am i missing it? all i've wanted for days now is to have black glass on lithium mod and i can't find it...is it out for lithmod yet? blackglass is by far my favorite, by the way

I know you understand the idea of quoting out of context. Are you in politics? Early in the month I read a post in the lithium thread saying that they won't be working w/ black glass anymore. The very next day Dave posted something saying that he expected the ROM in the next few days so I asked Dave about that in his thread:

Everything is cool now, will be releasing LithiumMod version along with all the others when I release the new "codename X" update. Should have them all done before or over (not blaming you at all Dave. Just emphasizing for his sake) the coming weekend. Still have a few more tweeks to do (also adding more "Black Edition" Google apps) and will then start compiling all the different versions and creating all the different update zips, then testing each one individually....I would like to wait and dump them all at once, but since it has taken so long I will release each Theme version as it passes testing and finishes uploading. I plan to do LithiumMod as one of the first since you guys have been doing without.

BTW, I promise, this new version of Black Glass will be worth the wait...well...umm..unless you don't like red

its sunday and still no new theme yet

Won't be much longer now...hopefully have the Froyo FRG versions up this evening...trust me, it will be worth the wait!!

Actually at the time I thought he said that Lithium would be the first one. Given that and the fact that he said he hopes to have it done before or by the end of the weekend.. It wasn't

Today I asked again. Asking twice in as many weeks doesn't seem unreasonable especially given what he expected at the time
