[Theme] 928Droid Black Glass X for Droid X !!!

928!!! I'm sure you've been hearing this non stop but I just gotta stand up and applaude!! This is by far the most amazing theme i have seen between my D1 and now my DX combined!!! Looks absolutely breathtaking!!!! The only thing I noticed was the News Widgets are black on black if you don't do any resizing on them. Other than that........ WOW!!!!..... Thats all i can say!!! WOW!!!

Yes any Blur widget that is sized as 1x1, 1x2, 2x2, 2x1, 2x3, 2x4 is gonna have a black background. This is to get the look on the quickcontacts and the calendar . Typically most people do a 4x1 size or larger for messages, news. social, etc and those will have the white background.

It was purely a temporary compromise situation.

When I get time I am going to crack the code so that all the Blur Widgets have white text so I can do the black transparent backgrounds on all of them.

Actually these 2 are more specific for the Droid X and are what is included in Blur Home and ADW for Droid X.
BTW, there is a difference in the 2 to compensate for ADW WP formatting

my adw toolbar didnt change (to the one that had the circle with red arrow like 2.1)

didnt know if that was include..


to get the wallpaper, press and hold on the screen and go to the bottom wallpaper option..it is in there

also the quick search bar didnt change...again, didnt know if that was include.. but the 2.1 version was fly.

Thanks, I found the wallpaper. I could have sworn I looked all over for it last night and could not find it. :blink:

Now I just need to re-download the extras to get the ADW Launcher goodies. Could have sworn I had a copy on my laptop and sdcard and could not find them.

Agree 100%...been using ADW exclusively for months (which is why it is usually in all my Themes), but with the changes to Blur Home and the Widgets, plus getting "to know" them better...I am on Blur Home until ADW at least catches up in the Widget area...tired of ADW loosing various widgets with every reboot, etc. and the lack of real time resizing of the Blur Widgets. To me ADW has gotten lost in the "who has more features" race and has forgotten to get the "basics" right.

the google box on the end of the quick search bar...i resized the screen to 8 by 6 instad of 4x4 (columns/rows) and when i reopened the widget, it had the google box on the end.

resizing the screen makes the original one too short, and cuts off most of the white area so all you see is "droi"

I didn't see that in the link you posted. Using something like ADW or whatever to resize stuff is gonna be a crap shoot and IMHO ADW for sure doesn't use proper techniques for that like Blur etc.

I installed the deodexed version of 928Droid Black Glass Theme and the ADW Launcher update. I have attached screenshots of my DX. Thanks 928Droid for making such a great theme! My favorite so far the DX. There is a lot of detail. I especially love the sculpted black keyboard. The clock/weather widget is Beautiful Widget.

Everyone has reported it to be perfect.

I have looked all inside the ROM and there are no apparent conflicts..go for it.
