[theme] Black notification bar Milestone 2.0.1 & 2.1 *update and compatibility fix*

umm so how difficult is it to download root? its nothing like 2.2 froyo is it?

Rooting is something you do, not something you just download. You have to download some files and install/flash them. You should look up what exactly rooting is and if you feel comfortable enough doing it. It is relatively simple but does require some decent computer knowledge.
also, rooting the milestone is a bit particular since the bootloader is encrypted/locked.

Has anyone noticed their phone gets more random reboots after installing the senseui theme? Because I get A LOT more random reboots. I want to know if its just my phone or if others have experinced this problem.

I installed this at around the same time over clocking became available to us so I assumed the overclock was causing the random reboots but if your getting random rebootd aswell it maybe this mod

I'd rather nor restore it burt I'd someone has the original telus files please post them

Sorry, but it does not work ok now with the SHOLS_U2_36.0 Rom....
The black bar works ok , but the notifications are all messed up,even the shutdown menu....

I dont think ive ever had any random reboots on my telus milestone ( I've been using flat black since I made it). What region and carrier is your phone on and what framework did you apply, your phone could have a slight variation compared to the supplied frameworks.

Also double check installed apps, cuz those can cause some trouble (especially if you were having random reboots to begin with)

Has anyone else had this issue?

What rom version is that and what carrier and region?

It's GOT's rom U2.36.0 for central Europe from www.groupoften.wordpress.com..I am in Greece..
In the previous roms , for example SHOLS_U_03.10.0 it worked perfectly...

Thank you.

if you can provide the framework-res.apk and services.jar I can try modding it for you.

I will see if I can dig it up for you, if not you might have to use a backup.

The default home app isn't that good, ill still try looking up the files but give launcher pro a try (from market) its a lot more light weight and has better features

For anyone who needs their original framework and services file do this

- download a sbf from http://and-developers.com/motorola_milestone:sbf
- extract the CG39.smg (system image) from the sbf using this tool: http://modmymobile.com/forums/402-general-android/530781-sbf-mbn-depacker-alpha-3-05-13-2010-a.html
- extract the content of the system image using unyaffs: http://boomtopper.blogspot.com/2009/10/unyaffs-windows-binary.html

Now you have all the original apks and your framework and services file
