Just needed a diet..NICE! I will update.. eh.. actually, I will probably start a new thread after lunch with the working link and a wallpaper zip after I collect all of the wallpapers from this thread.

also, jut wanted to know... Adroid.. did you get back up and running? I feel pretty crappy that you got stuck and I wasn't here to help you get back up and running.

Yes I did... and I'm running a working theme of Gold using SPR. Job well done my friend!

Nice looking keyboard...I tend to like the HTC-IME keyboard just because the keys seem to be a little bigger and easier to use. Is there a way that you could Gold theme that keyboard and give it to Xkape an maybe he could include it in his build. ???

Dam, I downloaded the zip from post 98, installed over Chrome thru CW and, after the M logo I'm getting a blank screen like before. Had to restore back to Chrome. I'm a gold kinda girl...

llt_droid.... You issue lies in your /system folder. After more than a year of abusing our D1's, and with BD using a lot of room, the system folder is running short on room. Your screen is blank because there was not enough room left for my theme to completely install. (This is due to me themeing a bit more than most people do and those images and new apps take up more space.

Use Root Explorer to go thru your /system folder and delete the stuff you never use. If you have ANY question at all about the file, KEEP it. Then, try installing Gold.

Oh I WILL figure that out. I think it too was a memory issue. I wonder if the toned down version in post 98 would work on the Dinc?

It will not work on my phone either...but I just rooted my phone and started applying ROM's last week. How did my system folder get so full so fast? Is that even my problem? I have no clue how to go through and delete things off of my system folder and am way to new at this to even feel comfortable doing that, I don't think I even have an app on my phone to do that with...Is there any hope I can run this theme? Will I have to go back to the 2.1 with the gold theme( that works just fine )?

P.S.How do you theme a keyboard? Can you do that to the shapewriter keyboard?

That's what I am saying!! I love the gold theme( I like chrome too, but...) it makes my D1 look so slick... Why does the chrome work on my phone but not the gold?

I use a paid Program called Root Explorer. I am sure there are free ones. Your /system folder is where a lot of the ROM stuff and most of the theme stuff goes. The reason themers put their apps in there is because they won't get overwritten if an update comes out. The only folders in the /system foler you would want to go into would be the "app" folder, the "fonts" folder and the "media" folders. In media, if you do NOT use a bootanimation, you can delete the bootanimation.zip. Really, fonts, who cares... they arent that big. in the "app" folder, all you are doing is going thru and deleting the apps you never use. Like Twitter for me. I don't have a twitter account. So I deleted twitter.apk.

fire.. because Gold is bigger than chrome in size. Chromes framework is like 2.8 megs. Golds is 5.5 megs. The biggest memory eaters are the phone.apk, the contacts.apk and the LatinImeGoogle.apk (keyboard).
