well you know, i think sometimes people get overwhelmed with some of the lingo, processes, fast pace of these threads when they really take off, so in an attempt to get you as many users of your amazing themes, i figure why not jump in and see if i can hammer out some of the issues for people

fire.. because Gold is bigger than chrome in size. Chromes framework is like 2.8 megs. Golds is 5.5 megs. The biggest memory eaters are the phone.apk, the contacts.apk and the LatinImeGoogle.apk (keyboard).

Wow! That is a big difference in megs.

Fire.. that's what I would do.. you need to be able to see more than just the SD card is all.

Also, fire... the size issue arises for me because instead of just using a hex code for a color, I am creating layers and getting the look I want and then merging the layers into 1. At least for chrome.... leprophotography made about 50 icons for gold. Not sure how he made his.

I could be wrong but he uses photo shop and i do believe theres a gold overlay that is already configured that you can just lay over

In my system file(according to file explorer) in m system folder I have 2 files. One is called apps and has 25 items in it. The other is called framework and it has one item in it called framework-res.apk. If I understand you correctly I can go into the apps folder and delete things like Google voice, and twitter, and amazon mp3 and that will give me more space? I don't do anything with the framework folder right?

Fire.. right.. don't touch the framework. Also, don't delete mms.apk if its in there. If you use K-9 or Chomp, they need it to be able to work.

what i like to do also, is because UD comes with so many ringtones, notification sounds, and alarm sounds, is go into system/media then audio and delete the majority of them, it frees up a ton of space..and you can keep your apps if you think you may use them in the future

I think you are looking in the wrong place. which app did you download?

you must have one with root permissions rootexplorer is great
