If something goes wrong you won't be able to put the originals back using the OP methods because you'll probably be stuck in a bootloop. You'd have to use the sbf.

im having trouble with adb

I rooted with the one click method and when I try to push files with adb, or even try to SU for that matter I get permission denied, but on my phone I ahve superuser and I have installed and used root only apps so I know I have root.

Any idea's on what im missing or do you think I need to update adb, I thought the one I have from rooting my old Droid Incredible would be good enough but maybe im wrong there.

I used the app Terminal Emulator and it was very easy (dont use swype). Try that maybe?

Actually I just pushed V2 of and reloaded the theme in MetaMorph but I don't see any changes from when I did the original version last night. What changes should I be looking for?

Used BTE to push the files, stuck in a boot loop with no recovery sbf in sight...

Make sure when you use ADB and run the 'adb shell' then type 'su' and watch your phone as the superuser will pop up and you need to select allow.

Hello all, thanks for the write up. After hours of trial and errors and multiple website searches I finally got half way to completion. For some reason I cant apply the actual black theme and widgets that you have in the pictures. Im not sure if its something that is to be downloaded seperately or if my head is just spinning to fast atm to figure it out. I have the black status bar and different app icons. Please help me out in finalizing my DX transformation. Thanks in advance, Greg.

I would try redownloading the file. It may have been corrupted. Also, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling Metamorph.

Tried it again and it worked 100%... phone looks amazing now, Thank You!

I used Terminal Emulator (Jake P.) and it worked flawless... also, I noticed this time that I did have the .604 update... Im not sure if i did or not before, I did check for updates but it didnt find any... could be because of bad signal

You could also try unzipping the metamorph on your PC first, and then just transferring the whole folder to your /sdcard/AndroidThemes folder, in case something was getting corrupted during the unzipping process on the phone.

Sorry to sound like a complete noob but how can I do these steps from my phone?

2. Download the following file:

NexTheme_V2.zip

3. Extract the file. Make a folder on your sdcard called nextheme. Extract the contents of the 'framework' and 'apps' folder into sdcard/nextheme. Extract the contents of the 'metamorph' folder into sdcard/AndroidThemes
