Sorry, I didn't see your post until now. Yes for data only backup I would use SP. Not saying CW won't work just, never tried it. I have always installed ROM's using SP and anything else using CW.

Guys and Gals.. sorry for pushing updates so frequently lately. I just keep learning new stuff. I will be posting a FINAL update late tonight. I have themed new apps, will be including the updated versions of facebook, twitter and youtube (courtesy of jasonppp) and I just don't like how some of my images in the phone and contacts apps turned out so they are getting redone now that I have learned a much better way to do it.

ok, so i got the rom loaded with my data(thanks xkape), but you keep pushing updates, i was wondering should i wait for the next update, or use the last one, 3 i think? Also, are the newer versions updates, or complete themes? that may be my problem, should I install the oldest version, and then the updates? I am getting cranky, which leads to beer, so not all bad

If I had a beer I would feel better. Still at work right now though. srmason6.. no, each update is the complete theme. Just with more done to it. Upto you if you want to wait but the one I post tonight will be the last. After that I will just be taking app requests and posting them individually for download. And, srmason6.. if there is an app YOU want done for your phones discourteous troubles, tell me now and I will incorporate it with the final update

Did you try running "fix permissions"? If that does not work, let me know. I had this issue with Gold last night and just deleted the gmail.apk from my theme and it was fine.
Matter of fact, I'm not sure why I even stuck it in there since I never edited it. I will just take it out. Try the fi permissions but if that doesn't work, restore your backup and try downloading the theme again. I will have it up in less than 10 mniutes.

The only thing I can think of is that when I messed with GoogleQuickSearch, it somehow didn't jive well with Gmail. I dunno though.

Adroid, if you didn't make a backup and reverting back will cause you to lose data, let me know before you do anything. I can walk you thru a workaround to get rid of and reinstall just Gmail and you won't have do reinstall the theme again. Thus getting everything working and at a point where you will be good to go.

I ran fix permissions but that didn't work. I did restore from a backup. I'll down load the updated theme. Thanks for the concern!

OK installed updated theme. As soon as I unlock the phone, I got an ugly FC. Strange... because I can still view my email. No worries tough. That's was the only time it appeared. Running smooth as always. Facebook and twitter look really nice. Great work Xkape.

Would you mind pointing this fellow to any good sites for theming. I would like to get into the game.
