Thinking of going to Best Buy and plunkin down $599.

You will love the phone. I could have traded mine today for a brand new Incredible (fantastic phone) and put $249.00 in my pocket. I couldn't bring myself to do it.
My sales rep. took care of me with a better battery. I LOVE this phone.

After two trips they matched the price. pissed me off though. I went across the parking lot and checked an authorized retailer just for giggles. turns out it was priced at 699. I went back and someone called and got a 599 price but they tried to keep it hush hush from me since I didn't know a place that charged 599. I get home and check this thread then verizon website 599. I go back to verizon and she gives me attitude and says I already had one price match but she will do it this time. I went off. I said you heard the guy say 599 you should have just honored it the first time. she snapped back its taken care of and walks off.
Bottom line... I exchanged a xoom beyond the 14 day limit for full refund, then ended up getting the thunderbolt for $599. Despite the trouble well worth the effort.

I'm paying $9.99 for unlimited data per month on an old special they had a while back. OMG, this is SO worth it.

I just mentioned the price at the other places.
with regards to cost... I had almost 1200 tied up in the xoom so unloading that and getting the price match returned some coin to my pocket. that and I really loved the Ipad 2 more than the xoom.
