This thread is about motorcycles!

That's awesome.

Yeah, it is cool to see her out there. She is still new and not quite comfortable with really hammering it out there, but she is improving every time we go. She can do it, the bike can do it, she just has to make her mind let it happen.

Here is me following her around a bit on Sunday.. first time she has been to this track. Going back next month, and it should be warmer which will improve grip...

Someone did a hit and run on my bike the other day! First day I took it out to work. It was parked and they backed into it. My luck right...

I've been thinking lately. I'm still consider myself a new rider and I have a 94 yamaha fzr600. I haven't ridden it much due to school and the bike having problem. I kinda want to get the bike up and running again and sell it and get a honda cbr250r since I'll be mostly just commuting with the bike. I know I could also get a ninja 250(and also used). But the fuel injection and better torque of the cbr makes it a bit more favorable then the ninja and I dig that robot like look the front end has.
Decisions, decisions...

I ride 99.9% of the time.....love my bike and my Rezound....wondering if there is a decent Bluetooth headset for use on and off my bike and I'm not talking motorcyclespecific ones cause they cost 2 damn much I'm saying like under $100 can listen to music and just say answer to pick up with some noise but not useless...I have my Beats ear buds for that

I now use one of the communication systems installed in my helmet, but for a few years I used the Motorola headset that goes behind the head, if I held it in my ears while I was putting on the helmet it would stay in my ears. I couldn't answer or make calls, I had to ignore them. I also think that unless there is a microphone going to the front of the helmet, I don't think anybody would be able to hear you anyway. They did work well for music only.
I also didn't want to spend the money on a helmet system, but once I did I could never go back. They work well and sound good, they allow you to answer calls, listen to music, etc. I currently use one of the cardo scala systems, I had a blueant system but the wires kept failing, resulting in skipping. Blueant sent me new ones, but now it just sits in my desk drawer because I have the other system. If it hadn't had quality control isssues I wouldn't have switched, it was like having a concert hall in my helmet, and was real easy to use by feel, with gloves on. Cardo system isn't as good, but it has been working fine for a season and 1/2, while the blueant would start skipping after about 6-8 weeks.

What you have to look at when buying a non motocycle specific set is how far it sticks out at the ears. I had another real nice set of headphones (Bluetooth) but I couldn't get a helmet over them, they would pop out when I pulled the helmet down.

I'm trying to fix my 95 zx6...it makes a clacking gear to gear sound and won't turn over. I took the cover off and the starter is fine. The one way clutch spins one way and not the other which means its fine (I think). I did see that the idler gear fell right out when I took the case apart. The idler gear wasn't making contact with the clutch.

So my question is is the idler suppose to move back and forth? Or be stationary and just spin?
