Tired of waiting for Nexus, Thinking Razr may be good option.

Amazon has the Razr for $199 right now (for 2 year new or 2yr extension)

It's 199 only if ur a new customer... And like 240 if ur extending and..Everyone is going to have specials but go to a vzw store and it will be 299.

Yeah I'm on the same page as you on that. I hated motoblur, and when I demo'd the Droid 2 and X at the Verizon store it felt clunky, buggy, and unpolished.

I'm on the Incredible right now and blur doesn't hold a candle to HTC Sense in my opinion. At least as far as feeling really polished.

I have been way impressed with Motorola's new skin on the bionic and Razr though and it doesn't feel sluggish or buggy like other "blur" software has.

I prefer HTC Sense myself as well. Though the improvements made to Moto UI are great, however, that giant app drawer button looks like an app and I always find myself trying to get rid of it when I get my hands on a moto device:D

you can test at your local verizon store. then find an authorized dealer with better discounts.... (Amazon, Walmart, Wirefly, Samsclub, etc...) I have purchased my last 2 phones this way and everything has worked out great. There's no reason to purchase a phone for $100+ more from VZW. I have paid VZW enough in service charges over the past 15 years. lol.

This is a interesting comparison video I found, comparing Razr and Rezound (Testing Scores)

I double checked. your right (for the most part) ... Its $199 for new line and $229 for Renewal. ... still not a bad deal.

I'm thinking for the most part u can prolly get it for around 249 or so from places like amazon and so just look for specials...but no way this phone retails for anything other than 299 from vzw atleast

Agreed my coworker just got the razr and its pretty smooth and is a ok phone. but in my book it does not even come close to being as good as sense.. even the unlock screen laged on the droid x lol..

The Razrmax just seems like what the Razr should've been originally, imo at least...

If they really are releasing it that soon, there are going to be many unhappy customers...

Exaclty. .... Hopefully this release isn't something in the near future and is mainly a rumor. ... Because this would pis off many people who jumped on the new Razr.

The Razr is supposed to be moto's new flagship phone, at least imo. To them even let word slip of a better version coming out only weeks after the release of the Razr already must have some customers questioning them. I know if I was a Razr owner I'd be upset already.

Nexus appears to be postponed. Verizon rep told me that the Nexus info was taken off of their product information database recently. Not a good sign. The rep thinks maybe a couple more weeks. ... I think I am getting the Razr. I am going to let myself sleep on this decision, but will probably make the order by sunday night.

Can't go wrong with the Razr.

I have an upgrade available but I've settled on the Nexus. Happy with my Inc still, so I'm still patient....for the most part

+1. But then I am biased. Another consideration - there will be other new and improved handsets in 2012. My personal approach was to get the RAZR as a transition to the 2012 handsets. If one is compelling, then I eat the ETF on the RAZR. If not, then I am staged for 2013.... Meantime, I am happy with the RAZR.
