Favorite "Unpopular" Apps

We've all seen lists of everyone's top 10 apps...and the typical list of suspects usually shows up. Beautiful Widgets, Handcent, Pandora, etc. What about those apps that nobody ever talks about that you couldn't do without?

Here's my top three FREE overlooked favorites:

Awinampremote: Combine this app with your PC running winamp connected to your stereo...and you have an awesome music player. I can search my music library, select songs or playlists, control the volume, etc. anywhere my phone has access to my home network. My phone even shows the album art for the song playing. Great for parties! (I bought the pay version of this app just because I wanted to reward the developer!)

HeyTell: Turn your phone into a PTT device...or think of it as verbal SMS. It works across android and iphone devices and is awesome for sending quick messages without typing. Near instant communication, high quality audio and no cell minutes used. You can share your location with the people you are talking to as well. Helpful when you need to find a friend at a crowded game or festival.

TuneIn: Excellent radio app with world coverage. I'm very pleased with the audio quality and range of stations and use it every morning to get my world news from the BBC (political affiliations aside...its interesting to hear their view of events)

What's on your list of overlooked apps?

iBird Pro. Only of interest to Birders, but replaces all my field guides when in the field, and pretty much even at home.
