Transparent apps...what's missing ?

mikey.. if you are trying make it transparent, I would look in the layout folder at the conversation_list_somethingerother.xml change the background from android:background="@drawable/bar_top" to @android/transparent

that's my guess and i'm sticking to it.

AAAAWWWWWW!!! I decompiled handcent,made the edit, and it wont recomp! Im gonna freak out lol

I updated my androidsdk and now when I open the apk manager I get adb was not found, you will not be able to manipulate the files on your phone. Not a big dealI don't think since I never adb push/pull anyway but kind of annoying none the less. I tried changing my environmental variables but same thing. any idea?

The only update was to get version 8.

no clue x i dont ever let my stuff update for fear of losing the things that work currently and not knowing how to fix it.

still wont recomp for me. i leave everything where it is after i decomp to recomp right? dont move or delete anything?

Got it to recomp but it wont install :/ Do I gotta sign it?

X, for sdk 8, adb moved to a tools folder in the platform folder... you will need to change your variable to point there....

the only one i see im having issue with is the email.apk the rest work nicely. camera is kinda funky too, not transparent but a weird color

I am not 100% on the email.apk myself - I flashed it and showed no transparency although it shows in the Team Sourcery release thread as being transparent -

Is there something else that needs to be included for it? Another apk? I don't know a whole lot but I know some apks depend on others, i.e. the dialer is in contacts?

Dangit.. I see adb clearly in the folder and I updated my path. Same issue..lol

im not sure but I think some one had said the email in the op is not transparent so here is one that is email.zip
and here is the newest facebook I have the widgets arent transparent and the app is originally from the inverted FB thread so it has that themeing but i think this has some fixes from the last one i posted http://www.mediafire.com/?d8ildrp5x157ety
If there are any bugs in either of these let me know and ill work on getting them fixed
