Transparent apps...what's missing ?

Now im getting errors decompiling it too. Its still broken down in the out folder but the log is 10 miles long so I dont wanna post it. I dont get it cus I can decomp, edit, recomp framework-res all day but nothing else.
**These are the apks im trying to do. Will someone see if they get the same crap?

you can delete the log then decompile something that errors and pm it to me if youd like and if i can help I will

K, thanks. Im pretty new to this and trying to learn as much as I can without bothering to many, but I feel like im not getting this...

I downloaded that file man. I can even decompile it. tells me "can't find framework resources for package of id: 3

eh.. I just noticed you are using a D2. I am guessing here but, I don't think my apk manager is setup for the D2. Different framework. I am thinking I would need to update my androidsdk.

Hmmm, would that matter? Im getting the same error as you. I can edit and recompile framework-res, but nothing else. I tried doing something to Contacts.apk and even if I didnt edit i couldnt recomp.

ok so heres what you do decompile the app and get the error just like you have been. Then go to(should be this directory if not find it in the log.txt it will be there) C\users\*yourusername\apktool\framework\and you should see 1.apk. Open 1.apk with 7zip drag resources.arsc to desktop(you will need it in a minute) Open the framework form your rom using 7zip and drag the resources.arsc from there into 1.apk. ok now back out of everything. now go back to apkmanager command prompt and press spacebar or whatever to clear that error notification and decompile. That should work now to recompile the app you will need to put the original resources.arsc back in 1.apk if none of this makes sense tell me and i can hit u up on gtalk and help

I went and decompiled Handcent while we waited for jatx... worked fine. no problem. it's just those two apps. (for me)

yea. did any one check out that handcent i posted? the only thing thats not transparent is the convo list. im hopin someone is working on the newest version?

lol, gtalk. i kinda get it but the directory is a little confusing

unzip this, install through file manager. uninstall the one you have first of course. go into settings and set the theme to black. text yourself, look around in there and you will see what im talkin about

I just looked at your log and this should definitely work I dont see why it wouldnt it has for me different apps but same errors

whats your gtalk name pm it to me or something.... this is the directory on your pc C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\apktool\framework\1.apk
