The big issue I get that I also get with Meebo is that neither app handles a lack of connectivity well. Each time I lose signal for a moment, the program crashes, instead of properly reconnecting/notifying of a disconnect/etc.

They have released several builds of the Beta. If you have the latest build, it will check for updates internally when you open the app and install a new one if ones been released. They seem to get more and more stable with each build.
