Two Releases Two Days, Froyo Anyone? - Sapphire 0.6.0

Froyo was open-sourced at approximately 23-June-2010-12:30 PM CST. All from source rom builders were hit with something new, somethign BIG! The previous vendor setup no longer worked, OH NO! In a race against the clock, knowing that the CM team would be working quickly to get CM building froyo, CVPCS got busy all by his lonesome making his own vendor setup. His goal... get a release out before anyone else finished their Froyo rom for the Droid.

yes, it's built from source. the proprietary files are based on the FRF57 leak, that's why it's labeled FRF57

Download doesn't work for me. Looks like mediafire might have some problems with their site? I've tried downloading from my DROID as well as two computers-- after clicking the download link on mediafire i get sent to a random popup with no download.

Nice work though, that was a fast release!

Interesting. So far the wifi works better with the Airport here. The leaked Froyo was constantly dropping and this build - while I can't either turn off or get the wifi hotspot funciton working - doesn't have the same kind of constant drops.

In my case that makes this first build from source more useful than the leaked build - fantastic as they are. Thanks.

Got it, now I just have to survive my son's birthday and I can install. Not that my son's birthday is bad, he invited several (10-15) of his teenage friends to ransack the house/pool and eat every scrap of food in the house, as well as ordering several pizza's.
