Two Unknown Icons in Notification Bar

Not sure what they are, but wanted to see if anyone knew.

First is a red circle, seems to always be on the far left. Has smaller numbers, i.e. 4, 5, 6. Thought it was number of apps running, but apparently not.

Second is a little blue "earth" with a red exclamation mark. Thought it may be GPS related, like it is disabled, but not sure.

Any info is appreciated.

I believe that red circle icon is just how many items you have downloaded without cleaning the task bar at the top out. All you need to do is place your finger where those icons are, and drag them down toward the bottom of the screen. It will open a new menu where you can individually click each item, or click the "clear" tab to clear them all at once. Once you drag it down it will tell you what all of those are.

What is that icon that looks like a "refresh" button? Looks like two arrows in a circle.

that is the sync icon letting you know it's doing background synching.
