TXT msg not sent in status bar won't go AWAY.. HELP!!!

Uhmm, did you try clicking on the notification and clicking "Do not retry"? Or maybe it's delete? I don't remember... But there's a option to *not* try to re-send...

Theres no msg to click? I cleaned out by entire inbox/etc.. I can clear it from the statuw window or when I click on 3 txt msgs not sent it takes me to the inbox but theres no msgs there.. weirdest thing.. dunno have a clue out to get rid of it... does Verizon or Motorla offere online technical support?

So, when you drag down the notification window, there is no line there that mentions the failed message? I use Handcent, whenever one fails I can click on the notification and resend, or not, from there. I thought it was the same with the stock text client, but it's been a while since I used it.

nope, weirdest thing i ever saw... I cant get rid of it!!!

Didn't actually find a fix but a workaround....download Handcent. That gives you way more features. It allowed me to delete those unsent text notifications. I actually kept Handcent and disabled the stock one. It works better for me.
