You don't 'try' ud, you 'experience' it... once you go ud, there's no turning back! Best rom, bar none... lol although we 'might' have the gingerbread update about the time everyone else is on honeycomb. =-/

Absolutely true. Best rom around. But I thought honeycomb was strictly a tablet OS, or am I wrong?

Hmm, not sure, you're probably right... that's probably why all I've seen is honeycomb themes and not honeycomb based roms... sorry I'm a tard lol

Yea, I knew he wouldnt do anything with them. Its the locked bootloader. Every dev is working on GB for us, none can get it as a daily.

I tried it last week, didnt have gps and wifi dropped as soon as I tried to use it...I dont want to waste the time to see if anything has been fixed. He probably just changed it to say updated to keep us hanging on lol

After reading all these post I realize how glad i am i didnt buy a DX or D2 and sticked with the D1. I cannot believe Motorola was dumb enough to lock the bootloader. I may never own another moto phone due to all this nonsense. Im sure im preeching to the choir, because im sure everyone who owns a DX or D2 wishes they could have there D1 back. DX and D2 were a major fail in my honest opinion.

I wouldnt go so far as to say they are fails...I have had both an X and a 2, I love them. The locked bootloader is keeping us from custom kernels and GB, thats about it. We have froyo, and liberty brings all the same goodies, if not more than UD does.

my d1 was more stable, had less reboots, had better battery life, had more features in its roms, was on latest version of gingerbread, and was almost as fast as my dx is.

the only complaint I had about that phone was the small screen size. everything else was better about that phone ....
