This is a nanodroid backup unzip and place in the clockworkmod backup folder boot into recovery and use nanodroid to restore the image to your phone as for a kernal every phone is different i use chevy ss 1.2ghz medium volt kernal and set cpu to manage overclocking

Sent from my Full Android using DroidForums App

When you say restore the image do you mean install the backup file that was moved into the clockworkmod folder? Or are we just supposed to install a certain part of the file?

I might be doing this wrong but when I tried flashing the "backup" file I got the message that the md5 sums don't match. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I did do that. I was in recovery mode, made a backup of my device and then returned to the nandroid folder and selected it (after it was unzipped and relocated) and I got the message that the md5 sums were different and it aborted the install.

heres what you have to do:

  1. take the original .zip of the nandroid back up and place it in /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup
  2. boot into recovery
  3. click nandroid
  4. click "restore"
  5. choose the nandroid you just saved
  6. click "yes"
  7. wait
  8. reboot
  9. ???
  10. profit

Awesome South Park reference, my hat is off to you. So in the original instructions it said to "unzip" the file and then place into the clockworkmod/backup folder. Should I not extract it?

I do appreciate the help.

I will try it out now. Thank you for the help.

Back in a few, flashing now.

Well more drama. I found the UD download link on twitter, downloaded it, installed to root of my sd card, booted into recovery, went looking for it...no where to be found. I then mounted my sd card (while in recovery). Pushed it to the phone, again, using droid explorer. Once again, squadouche. I will try the download link you put up there earlier and see if that works, waiting for my phone to reboot to see if I can find what the issue is there.
