Just got outta class...I'm no dev guys and I don't know the technical term for any of the changes I've made. I don't even know where to start to explain. I guess the main thing you should know is how to resign a zip file....

if you have another d2 rom on yourcomputer you already have the file

You replace the lights.shadow.so file with lights.droid2.so? In the system/lib/hw folder?

i replaced all the files in that folder with the d2 files. and the keyboard fix for the other dx roms is system>usr>replace all the files in keychars and keylayout with the ones from d2 rom, but for whatever reason on this rom they are right back after you flash the rom. that key board fix works for the other dx roms though

well, i tried no physical keyboard is a deal breaker for me. back to my custom fission rom, the blackout flyout version i hope bd gets this thing up and running soon...
* and that quad score was 2310, for those of you that couldnt see it

he knows about the problems

he doesnt have a D2, but he told some D2 users to join IRC earlier for troubleshooting.so hopefully fixes will come soon

He should talk to fabolous. Apex had the exact same issues when first ported to d2. He was able to fix them with files from d2 source or something

im sure he does know...and i only tried to get keyboard going for personal use. i know it will be good to go by this time next week it dont take long for these things to take shape...

ya he's already making progress and mikey I tried your backlight and keyboard ideas but it just bootlooped my phone...just did backlight and everything worked ok so I may run this for a day with how it is and see what kind of battery life were looking at

i didnt get any bootloops with it, not like when i messed with rubix. but at least you got the backlight right

So, to fix the backlight, you just took a rom like Fission and replaced all the files in system/lib/hw in UD with the ones from Fission? and then zipped it back up?
