so far so goood...

went from stock to rooted with rom and theme in less than 1 hr! Started the process before i even left the Verizon Store

i liked the rom but im a big music fan and the coverflow on the droid2's music app was a big selling point of the phone. im trying to find a way to replace the one on this rom with the one from the system dump to see if that will work. any help or ideas?

? Really? This isn't a Verizon release, I made it. You do need to be rooted.

a couple issues im having

hey guys this is actually my first time posting, but i love the site and i, always on. not new to rooting or anything that comes with it. i just installed epic 2.5 followed instructions to a "T", and now my gmail is not working, tried updating and it would not install. also my koush bootstrap is not working when i try to reboot into recovey, it just boot normally. any response/help/tips would be greatly appreciated.



hmmm i actually got my gmail working, however my bootstrap is still not working... i tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing. i havent bootstrapped this rom do i need to do that? sorry if thats a newb question

Run "Bootstrap Recovery" again and it should work -- We just had this conversation on the IRC channel this evening.

Not sure about your Gmail issue, though.

Is anyone else having problems with text messages being sent and recieved multiple times? I'm running 2.5 with the Gala S theme.

I've received a few SMS messages three times (not just three notifications, but three copies of the same message.)

Running 2.5 with NexTHEME.
