[Unofficial] setCPU Settings

Peter Alfonso's stock rooted ICL53F, stock kernel.

Interactive governor at 1.2ghz
1 profile: 350mhz max & min with screen off.

About 14 hours of battery life with heavy use. Using extended battery.

It seems that all these 4.02 roms (ARHD and bugless beast) get wayyy better battery life than the 4.03 ones like axiom

Mine are set pretty low. Running GummyNex 0.3.8 w/ Imoseyon Kernel 1.1

Remember, diff phones have different tolerance. What might work for my phone might not for yours.

Also, I heard that if you set the voltage too low, it can make battery life worse so play around with different settings and see what's best for your phone.

this is around where im at usually.

Yesterday on Axiom 2.1 with these settings I got 18hrs throughout the day with 27% left before going to bed, and woke up at 24. Before charging I got 31hrs. That was with barely using my phone forever, and I have Battery Defender installed so my data is off when the screen is off.

What are you guys using to change the voltage settings? I have both setcpu and no frills and I don't see where I can change the voltage for each slot.

Is it b/c my kernal doesn't allow this? Running ARHD with the included kernal.

Using SetCPU. If you're not seeing voltage controls then it's your Kernel. I got the same thing with Fabs Kernel which already has built in undervolting.

Last night I switched to the Lean Kernel. So far, this + Axiom is absolutely amazing.

Looks pretty good. Did you change any settings with lean kernal or do you have a profiles set up? What Gov?

Currently I'm using Franco kernel which also congress with it's own CPU app. It's pretty amazing right now. Here's what it looks like.

Haha, already switched kernals. I just d/l lean kernal going to try that out (currently just running stock kernal).

I don't care for conservative gov's, feel like the phone is unresponsive at times, but that explains your good bat life.

I almost got that much yesterday with the Stock battery with heavy use. I have been getting great Battery life every since I installed juice defender and cutting off NFC...
It went from 5hrs to almost 14hrs.

Lol yeah, normally I use interactive but it seems conservative works best for this phone. Lots of people on xda recommended to put it on this.

That's interesting. I'll give conservative a try. I tried on demand and hated it, so I just assumed conservative would be very laggy as well.

Thanks for the info.

No problem, be sure to post how it works out for you.

Will do, but it turns out lean kernal doesn't have a conservative gov so I am running it with interactiveX. I downloaded Franco's kernal, but want to try out lean kernal 1st. I'll report back after a day or so.
