Just an update I did the ota on my rooted x2 all you have to do is make sure if you froze any apps make sure u unfreeze them and the update will go through you lose root but its easy to get back with Pete's one click root. As far as the update goes things seen smother cam is better and keyboard response is great and battle life not alot of change but I'd say its worth the update.

It works. I rerooted last night with it. Make sure you use v7. I already had that script so I just re did it. Went without a hitch.

Did u delete any of the apps that came with the phone cuz from my understanding if u don't have one it won't update

I tried updating when it prompted this morning and it failed - so I did some poking around and went and defrosted what I had frozen and now whenever I try and run the update again it tells me it's downloading...

I'm on Wi-Fi with no OTA access, hopefully when I get out of the dungeon I work in it will download..

So on a full battery my phone got a full 1 day and 8 hours before I needed to charge again. Guna let it die out and fully charge again maybe one or two times to see if my battery will calibrate and read better. Since 2.3.4 thats the only slight issue ive seen. Not complaining, just pointing out MY issue. Dont know if others as well are expeirencing this but just thought Id let others know. Great battery life though so far.

Looks like everything is good to go with the update, one question to ask though, when hitting the power button to put the x2 into sleep mode how does yalls screen go off? Mine does not fade like it use to it goes from top and bottom to the middle like a eye closing, is that normal?

That's norm its called crt just like the older crt monitors I like the effect

I just went from the flashed 2.3.4 sbf back to 2.3.3 sbf; Then I did the OTA update back to 2.3.4...going to see if there is any SLIGHT difference at all. I'll let you all know if I see anything different.
