Update your PRL'S

HEY, GUYS: THE PRL IS NATIONAL.

It contains a database of all the towers rented by Verizon around the nation. The reason is that when you are moving into a new "cell" that doesn't have a Verizon-owned tower, the phone communicates with a tower that Verizon rents from another carrier (Cellular South, Cellular One, Sprint, etc.) so that you avoid roaming charges.
Odd, mine is 65145.

Near Raleigh, NC.

@Tanknspank: The actual PRL number can vary, depending on your calling plan.
