I've been running the shiz for a couple of days now and like it a lot. very smooth. getting some force close issues with beautiful widgets and can't add facebook as an account to sync for some reason, but from what i've read that may be a facebook issue and not the rom, right?

I've gotten a couple of FC's since yesterday with LauncherPro, but it seems related to the latest update of Beautiful Widgets.

I think the Facebook account sync issue is their problem and not the rom. I've tried older versions of the Facebook.apk that were known to work previously and still can't sync them up.

no, its not facebook, because FB sync still works on other roms :-/

The other day FB was down and not loading content,but yesterday it worked again but their still is no actual sync in settings/sync like in other roms even remix has it.To sync those contact etc.

I switch to the Red theme via Rom Manager and now my Launcher doesn't let me put apps down at the bottom of the screen. It just has dots near each side of the screen. Did I screw something up?

Sounds like its just a different launcher than you had before... there are like 6 different options now... Helix 1 & 2, Home ++, LauncherPRO etc.... Figure out which one you had and put it back on there...

Is it just me, or does the goodies download have the first 10 or so lwp's missing (0 byte livewallpapers.apk files) for 'lwpandroid1' - 'lwpbluedots'? I tried installing the dpink one for the pink themed version on my gf's droid via the script on the terminal, but nothing seems to happen. When I do one that doesn't have a 0byte file (such as 'lwpelectric') the phone instantly reboots. Hopefully I'm just missing something simple.

go to the second post on this thread or the "Theme addons" section and flash either helix1 launcher or helix2. I would suggest deleting your current launcher as well but that isn't necessary.

First of all, great ROM. Its a lot more responsive now that I'm using Chevy's Med voltage 1.0 ghz kernel. I'm pretty new to droids, so the customizer has made life a lot easier.

The only question I have has to do with Skype. I use it quite a bit and I'm getting an error that says it can only be used on a Verizon phone. I haven't had this issue on other ROMs so I was wondering if there is already a fix for this somewhere.

Hello all. I am having the same problem. I haven't been able to get any of the live wallpapers to work. I also seem to be having an issue with fonts. After installing them and then rebooting, my phone hangs on the M screen and doesn't go anywhere. I am installing them with the scripts through adb.

Also once I get stuck on the M screen I have to reflash the ROM just to get back into the phone.

This rom is based off ESE81 build, N8&Jrummy's V0.8 is based off CyanogenMod's.

NexTheme installed quickly and runs nice. Installing the 1.1GHz kernel was just as easy. However, when I try to run a script (for example addhandcent [I've flashed the goodies folder for the record]) I get the following lines of text:

/system/xbin/mountsys: cannot create /dev/nul: permission denied
cp:cannot create 'system/app/handcent.apk': Read-only file system
/system/xbin/unmountsys: cannot create /dev/nul: permission denied
Added themed handcent!

Anybody know how to fix this error? I'm new to the whole rooting scene and this is my first time using scripts in Terminal.

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot to type su. Now I have a new problem. When adding extra apps, where do they go? I can't seem to find them after I use the scripts. Also, the live wallpaper scripts aren't working either. It says "Changed lwp to (wallpaper)! Image created by prosh" but my old wallpaper is still there.

I need to check out the live wallpapers. I was in a rush and might have not added the right goodies folder. Until then you can still change the lwp in rom manager or in the goodies thread in the jrummy section. They are all available as update.zips
