(updated 6-29) Froyo Kangerade v0.3.4 - Compiled from source

I have a silent in setting when you go to select ringtone silent is an option.I noticed the droid sound is gone so I just saved it when I reflashed to Kangerade then copied moved it to sd and flashed back to build.

Good to hear about the update Jrum running very good so far.Had 2 reboots on ringdroid but I just used it today for the first time and maybe it needs an update. Thanks for all your hard work.:)

bugless beast has a ringer widget, since im a noob to this kinda stuff and catching on quick can i find the apk for that widget and install it to my kangerade?

To fix the silent/ringer/vibrate issue download silent toggle widget. I was pissed at first too but this is actually easier and quicker. One touch will switch between ring, silent,or vibrate. Simple, works great.

Ok I have a small problem.I nandroid my setup and installed update(did a wipe) from sd as ROM like normal.Everything loaded up market restored all my apps.I have a kernel or two on my SD so I flash clockwork and reboot to recovery to install kernel and it don't go to recovery it takes a while then just restarts normal boot up before I even picked kernel.Well here is where the fun starts. It is in a constant eye boot loop and nothing I have tried will get it to go.I have pulled battery and SD and rebooted while holding power and X nothing.I can not get it to reboot past that area.Any ideas?

Wow! This latest update (Kangerade v0.3.4) is AWESOME! I've run so many different builds of Froyo in the last week, I'm about Froyo'd out. But this thing is sweet! First time I've run a ROM that allowed the home screen to rotate with the phone! And man is it SNAPPY! Running the ChevyNo1 ULV 1.2Ghz kernel with no problems. Loving it, JRummy! I was running BB v0.3 for the last 24 hours and really liking it. But I think yours is my new favorite! Good job, man!

anyone else having 3g issues? If I start wifi and then turn it off 3g wont return til I reboot the phone, weird.

also I cant seem to add custom notications like I could with 2.1, been using mabilo, anyone know of a good alternate method?

I am having a WiFi issue. When I turn on WiFi I get a tethering icon on the status bar and in the notification window it says "tethering or hot spot active touch to configure" when I do that it takes me to the settings for tether and it says wireless tether active. However, the check box is not marked nor does it allow me to deactivate it. When I try to click the check box it says error and shuts off WiFi. I am able to use WiFi though and when I turn it off I don't have the above issue with 3g.

Try rebooting your phone. I had the same thing happen and couldn't figure out how to get rid of it because it wouldn't let me clear it from the notification panel. This should work. Leave wifi selected when you reboot. I think everytime you turn on wifi that notification will stay in the notification panel until you reboot. I haven't figured out another method that works.

Thanks, that does work. Too had though that this needs to be done every time you shutdown and restart WiFi. guess that's part of using a beta! hopefully jimmy fixes this bug in future builds.

What is the difference between this and : [6-22] Froyo Kangerade V1.1 ?

I am running v1.1 now, and see this "source" was updated. So it is newer.

Anyone? Thanks

i'm wondering the same thing myself i ran the first jrummy kangerade which was very sweet but decided to switch back to my all time favorite which is the rom that stays on my phone 99% of the time "Cyanogenmod" cause of all the tweaks and most importantly two things the reboot option and that teams method of apps2sd. But i seen that kang 2 has all apps2sd so im wondering does this rom have it too? im going to go back to my nan of kang 1 and try kang 2 until iwe get a response from someone i hope it will hold me over till CM 6.
