You're right. I was gettin my info from a misleading source. Either way, 4gLTE is new technology. Of course they're going to add a few bucks to the price tag. Not to mention the hardware inside these new phones.
Just noticed that the tab is back up on the Verizon main page and if you inspect the element of the pic, they call the image file BIONIC TEASE jpg I find that not so funny ....
If the subsidized price is $300 and the non-subsidized full retail price is $569, doesn't that shoot down Verizon's argument that the ETF should be $350 to recover the subsidy since the ETF will be almost $100 higher than the discount?
With it being 299 on contract why not save up a bit more and just buy it outright for 589? I totally understand we don't all have an extra 300 bucks at our disposal at all times but if you can save the 299 wait a couple more weeks or whatever it takes you to get another 300, that way you get the Bionic and keep your upgrade.
Also the Charge is still 299 on contract and it has been out a few months now so I wouldn't expect the Bionic to drop below the 299 on contract price anytime soon.
