Has there been any confirmation (or at least rumor) of a MicroSD slot on this unit so far? If it lacks one, that'd be a dealbreaker for me, despite the nice specs.

There hasn't been any confirmation from any of the sites I've seen. Doesn't necessarily mean there won't be one, but the Nexus S didn't have one so the possibility exists. If it has 32GB built in, it might be even less reason for there to be a MicroSD slot

Well Samsung cameras are probably the only Android cameras (besides Sony) that can rival the iPhone cameras so I'm sure we'll be fine with 5MPs.

Doesn't Sony make the iPhones camera?

I wonder if this has expandable storage/notification light?

I like the microSD slot, simple because it makes it easier to move all my storage on my D1 to the new phone, yes I am that lazy, haha.

Honestly. I'm not believing anything from BGR or Droid-Life right now until Tuesday comes around. Until then, everything is just a slight rumor in my book.

Really hope this phone has a nice camera. Went to Costco yesterday and compared the cameras on the Bionic and the Charge. The Charge's camera was much much better than the Bionic. Typical Motorola crappy hardware. The shutter was much quicker on the Charge and the white balance/color rendering on the Bionic made people look like aliens with the weird skin tone colors.

kellex is saying he thinks it has the 4430 in it. same as the bionic. if its not the 4460 or the samsung processor than ill pass. Hope this is not true. many of things kellex has hinted STRONGLY or suggested in the past have turned out not to be true so there is still hope. still waiting to hear about sdcard and what those 3 brass things are for on the side.

Yeah I wouldn't put too much stock in that... He is just guessing based off of a rumor that the 4460 was delayed. Just 5 days until we know for sure!

Oh, snap -- things are starting to get real now. This morning, BGR broke some exclusive info on the Nexus Prime that they obtained from a "trusted source." Now, GSMarena is reporting that they also have exclusive info on the upcoming device, but there's one problem: the latter strongly disagrees with the former. In fact, about the only thing the two sources are in agreeance about is the display --a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD running at 1280x720.

So, let's have a look at what GSMarena's source is saying the Prime will be packing:

• 1.5GHz dual-core processor, most likely Exynos
• PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU (the same one that's in the iPad 2)
• 8MP rear shooter with 1080p video capture
• 2050mAh battery
• Global-ready

I have to say, that sounds more like a Nexus device to me. With all of the contradicting specs, though, there's only one thing we can do: wait until October 11th and get the deets straight from the source.

Why underclock a 4460 to 1.2GHz when you can overclock a 4430 to 1.2GHz and save on costs? This is why we need Tuesday.
