My device is different and stock, I was simply using the picture as an example as they are similar enough in that aspect. Since you don't have the data icon, you should be able to verify your data is
enabled by going into system settings, under data.

When you slide down your notification bar with two fingers select the little pen on the top right hand side. It may list your data toggle then. If it does then long press it and drag it up to where you want it positioned on the notification bar.

Doesn't work. When I do that there's no data button there. In the settings however, there is a data box which is checked.
