Usb/Sync promblem for Droid 2

I have had my Droid 2 for almost a week now and when I plug my usb cord into the computer it only charges my phone. I dont get a notification about syncing or anything. PLEASE HELP

I'm not sure... Everything else syncs like my ipod, and my other cell phone. Idk why this is not working. Is there something specific I need to download?
