Using Your Own Handwriting As Font!

I feel like an old timer and I'm only 29 years old. I can remember back when I was in school we used these things called pencils and paper to convey a message. If we made a mistake we would actually use this thing called an eraser. These days all the kids have macbooks and ipads assigned to them. Before you know it handwriting will be a dying art form.

How cool would it be if you could use your own handwriting as a font in Android. Personally for me that would be awful as my handwriting is pretty atrocious, but for many of you this would be pretty cool. Myscriptfont allows you to download and modify a template to actually add your own handwriting as a custom font in your Android device. Head to the link below for further instructions.

Why would I need encryption when I could use my own handwriting as my phone's font? A pharmacist could steal my phone and still wouldn't be able to use it...

I thought iFont supported most Samsung devices without root...does it no longer? Very tempting to try with my Note 5 (which is unrooted)...

On down in the tutorial, it says that this can be accomplished with the app "hifont" (HiFont - Cool Font Text Free - Android Apps on Google Play) - definitely might be worth checking it out ...

Oddly, the Asus launcher I used for a short time allows different fonts to be used. It finds any that any of your apps use. Not sure if you could use your own.
Def a very cool feature.

Check out Samsung's installed fonts. I use choco and cool jazz.

I couldn't get my handwriting that neat if someone stuck a gun to my head. Doctors look at mine and say "I could take horrid handwriting lessons from that guy" .

It indicates in the app info on the Play Store that it will work on devices (looks like up to the Note 2 or 3 and some of the S Series without root) and past that it looks like it is hit or miss with Samsung...I have not attempted it yet with the HiFont app that is said to work on non-rooted devices...
