So, pretty simple question/issue. Is there any reason that I would be getting considerably worse battery life on v.08 than in the stock GB .596 rooted/deodexed? I mean, I though the stock's battery was pretty bad, but it seems like I'm lasting even less time now. And I absolutely love Liberty, since Froyo. So I'm just a little confused.

I ran both .8 and .9 liberty and stock 596. Liberty is little better on battery life than stock. I would suggest calbrating your battery. There is an app that will do it for you.

Compared to liberty.... there is no comparison. It's hands down the best rom i've ever tried. Besides the battery life (which sucks), it is in every way superior to liberty, zombiestomped and apex. The speed, ease of customization (including tons of themes), plus waking up to a new build each morning makes me feel all warm and fuzzy

aahahaha see, I'm willing to give some of that stuff up for better battery life. that's one of the reasons i got off stock. but i heard some people say the battery life was good. maybe its different between the builds. what did you get the best battery life on?

My battery life on cm sucked and still sucks. It's okay tho. I'm hopeful it will get better. Everything else is perfect. Not one other issue! It's amazing.

Maybe 8 hours of moderate use. 6-8 with really heavy use (thats how I usually roll)
If you're a light user tho (email, fb, light web), you'll make it thru the work day.
