Used to be something like long press a home screen, then home screen settings(or similar), then there should be a check box.

No I haven't. But I did notice Textra now sends over WiFi also. The calls over wifi is also awesome

If you continue having issues you may need to do a reset. No problems here since the update, though.

i did do a reset i always do after a big update could it be because i smartswitched all my text messages over?

Sometimes a second factory data reset may fix the problem. Might not hurt if you just did it, especially if you haven't fully reset up your device yet. Another easier option might be to uninstall the app in question. Go into application manager, clear cache, clear data, force stop it, then uninstall. Then go in and reinstall it. Also double check the changelog for your texting app, they may not have updated it to be compatible with marshmallow just yet and that could be why you're having problems.

im going to try a factory reset again and delete all my old texts hopefull that will cure

well i did a reset again and manually reinstalled all my aps and started fresh with text messages didnt carry anything over seems to be much better now for the battery life issue

Yeah, I did a reset with backup a while back and restoring my text messages made texting lag like crazy. When I wiped them all it fixed the issue entirely.

Is it just me or is the audio in headphones much better? I know it was supposed to have an update to the higher quality audio but I was watching a show on Netflix the other night with my BT headphones and was blown away at the sound... Not sure if it was just that episode or what but I was really blown away.... I don't notice much difference in the speaker but most all I listen to is Howard.

Hmmm. I'm not sure if I'm having that issue or not. I thought my recent resets were from switching to allowing Samsung security updates to be automatic.
