Not at this time. I've been told its because I've been with em for as long as I have, also because I have an excellent pay history, and because they're clearing 3g of the heavy users. And the newest reason or suspected reason, the bill pay screw up from November where I had a 1400 dollar bill for December.
Every person I talk to has a different reason. I feel at this point that I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth. However I'd like to know why I'm getting a free phone. But I'm not going to scream it out of them.
My thoughts are, by the way I'm suspicious by nature of things like this, but this is a new line my son has. I just got it for him in late October. So the line is only 6 months into its contract. I just signed another two years for it, so the phone isn't exactly free.
I'm obligated for another 24 months of service for that line, so all of my contracts will end at about the same time, this one will be the longest by 2 months.

7g? What the heck does he do with the phone? lol Congrats on the new phone yes clear all the clutter from 3g for us who live in no mans land and will be lucky to get 4G in who knows how long.

Did they offer you a free upgrade too? Did they tell you any other odd reasons??? I'm just trying to figure this out lol. I'm sure other people would appreciate knowing the " secret" ...I would like to know myself.

I've heard that I'm a valued customer after arguing with them for an hour...border line about to leave them.
They've never called me to give free things.
I just called again and the gal was like... it has to be a mistake... she looked, and said nope, no mistake. I don't know the reason though.
So that's the end of my research. I'm taking the phone and looking at it as a possible offset for the price I pay every month for 4 unlimited lines. Lol
