i went back from 7.893 to 5.893 last night and Eclipse 2.0 just 20 min. ago..now..am thinking of 901...now i don't know..

Yeah, I posted yesterday that I was going to wait for an official OTA but data drops were just way too terrible. No problems with 901 yet.

yes i am rooted, rooted it the first day i got it lol. i have not installed any links or updates and my system version is 5.5.886.XT875.Verizon.en.US
Well,i think waiting for two weeks for me may not gonna happen,if i have time tonight,i'll flash this 901.
So do you want the link to the 901 update or you going to wait for the OTA.

No, I'm not on 4g at all, dont get it here. I lose 3g all together as soon as I get or make a call. Anyone else notice this? I also reinstalled widgetsoid and yes I had the notification check marked. Did it again and its back in the notification bar so we'll see how long it stays.
Still worried that I'm losing data connection just because I make/get a phone call. 3g icon even disappears altogether. Rooted/forever rooted, installed 901 last night. Also for some reason I had lost data connection before I went to bed. Restarted phone and it showed back up. This morning it was there but dissapeared and would not come back on until I restarted the phone. Just kinda take this as I let 901 settle in. One last thing that I dont see is when I hit the power button to restart or go into recovery it is not there anymore, just the stock options like shut down phone, no restart or recovery?
lol, agreed. I'm having some fun with him on the forum now. Entertaining making him eat his own words. He's a total d-bag. He's constantly jumping into posts over there that he has no knowledge about, continually ranting about following "rules," and insulting / belittling everyone who has a differing opinion.
It has always been that way. only LTE (4g) allows data and voice to be working the same time. 3g never did.

You'll hate to hear this, but you need to do a FDR. I'll save you some time from doing your own research, but yes for those of us who hadn't received the update this is the only option, when you reactivate your phone immediately search and it'll be found. If your search screen just sits on the "searching" screen with the blue swirly thing OR says "updates not available at this time," then this is your only option unless you want to install it via leak instead of OTA. Sad, but true...at least it shows that there are SOME problems only a FDR reset will fix and Verizon doesn't just like to say that...

So can i still do a fdr (which im guessing is factory data reset) while im still rooted or will i have to unroot? And after i do this you say to hit the search key?
