Verizon Salesman declined insurance for me!

verizon should go ahead and give u the insurance just say u told him to enroll u and he never did or sumn.... i have had two claims on my htc touch pro 2..the first one lol funny story i was in ocean city driving a little buzzed and talkin on my phone i went to pull in the gas station and when i was turning the weel..(u know hand over hand) i hit the phone and it shot out the window and i ran it over LMAO!!!! second time i was.. the cat knocked it off the counter and into my laundry well thats what im guessing happened im not sure and it went into the wash lol... i got sprint and that phone is pretty darn expensive.. and its also nice not having to car about the phone and baby it!!!

Driving "a little buzzed" is never part of a funny story, at all. You could have ran over more than a phone

haha so u would be the loser in the group i take it! i never drive drunk or buzzed cuz buzzed driving is drunk driving but i was in a tight spot and was givin the choice to leave or stay and go to jail so i took the high road and got me and the ppl i was with the heck out of there!

I have insurance on my Droid 1 and have had insurance on all of my cell phones (even the simple ones). Never needed to use it. Just be careful with your phone and you should be fine.

my dad's droid1's insurance got removed somehow in the purchase process, so when he went in to make a claim he didnt have it. they gave him an early upgrade to an x
so we both have insurance, my inc and his x

I've had insurance on every phone and used it on every phone unless it was still under the one year. Im tough on my phones

In case no one has checked, some home owners policy offer a very cheap policy that covers smart phones...also a way cheaper deductible. You can just call your agent and ask for info

I didn't have to pay a deductible for my insurance I just it is just a extra charge on my monthly bill.

Since I only signed a one year contract when I bought my X, and I can upgrade in August, I decided not to get insurance. I just use a silicone case and a screen protector. I should be fine, I hope lol.

Insurance can be added within first 30 days now. Asurion also offers an open enrollment now for people to add insurance (though I forget what time of the year).

So it seems the moral of the story is that if you want it, get it. If you don't, don't. lol. Warranties and extra insurance are one of those things that you'll get an a good split for and against.

insurance is a waste of money to me. what is it 3, 5 dollars a month? thats about 100 every 2 years. just take care of ur phone.
