Verizon Unlimited Data Fee Increase

Alright guys. Let's get this thread back to the topic of the fee increase.

You've had plenty of time to go back and forth on the pros & cons of trying the workaround to get a new device.

You have to make the decision on your own whether it's worth the risk(s) at this point.
It is in my opinion more about how to delay the increase in the UD fee by getting yourself back on contract before the increase takes effect.
Not how to get a new device.

Come on now.... Let's not get another thread closed.

Agreed.

Friendly reminder, the topic of the thread is the price increase. That's all that should be discussed here.

Workarounds & loopholes to keep UDP or the way people use their plans cause arguments that won't be tolerated at Droid Forums.

Just FYI: I talked to my local Verizon store today and they pulled up my account and my bill will definitely increase on the next one. For me that would be December 1st, the next bill due after November 15th. Unless my line is still on a contract. Your results may vary, but my bill is going up. Decisions...decisions.

Not sure how you're figuring a 20% discount lowers the price from $20 to $10.01.... Is that that new "fuzzy math" logic? [emoji2]

That's what the rep told me lol. I pay $23.99 right now for ud. Hopefully he was right!

My bill will go up $10.01 with the 20% discount from work. Not to bad.

I think he meant that he will be paying $10.01more... $23.99 + 10.01 = $44 total.

But the math still isn't working with 20% discount on the 49.99 new udp rate plus 9.99 line charge, it should be $47.98 with the 20% discount.

I'd stick with Verizon's math. You'll save an additional $3.98.
