[VIDEO] 10min Root complete Guide

It seems when I go into bootload or recovery my machine(s) think the phone is unplugged from the usb then it will say "this devices drivers did not install correctly"... now when I just plug in my phone wihtout bootloader or recovery it loads the drivers fine, I've tried this on a win 7 32 and 64 bit system.
Anyone else having this problem?

there are different drivers for both modes... one you have working fine it looks like and the other you don't.

For recovery - you should have at the top of your device manager an item called Android ADB for recovery to work.

Well I was having this same issue, while other people were able to access recovery just fine. I have know idea why.

I did get it to work, and posted an alternative fix if you want to try that.

I can't get my computer to recognize the phone in recovery or in the bootloader page. ADB works just fine when the phone is turned on. I just get the device not found error over and over and over and over . . .

ok this is driving me nuts

Ok followed everything exactly, have htc drivers installed fine HOWEEVER as soon as I go to recovery adk bootloader usb drivers stop they disappear from devices so of course the computer is just not talking to the phone. Tried the loop and of course it didn't work either because there is no usb chatter going on. I'm stumped and about to give up. Thanks for trying.

Tried both methods but keep getting device not found. Tried on 2 comps..one win 7 32 bit and one win 7 64bit.
